A Ready For Anything® building block

Full IAQ monitoring with a visible CO2 and temperature readout for occupants. No screen, no app — just a number on the wall that updates automatically.

CO2 · Temperature · Humidity · VOC · Light · E-Ink display · CF25 compliant · LoRaWAN EU868

What this adds over the standard BREEZE

Same sensor, same accuracy, same BACnet output to Niagara. The difference: the E-Ink display shows live CO2 and temperature readings at the point of occupancy — on the wall, where people can see it.

In a school classroom, that number matters. When students can see CO2 climbing toward 1,500ppm, teachers open windows or flag the issue. It creates a feedback loop between occupant behaviour and building performance that a BMS dashboard in the plant room can't provide.

The sensor and display communicate directly via Bluetooth — no additional LoRaWAN transmissions for the display, no additional network load. Mount the sensor in the optimal measurement position; mount the display where people will see it.

Why the BREEZE with E-Ink Display is Ready For Anything®

🟢 Ready for Today

  • CO2, temperature, humidity, pressure, VOC, ambient light — plus a live display — one sensor, one LoRaWAN slot, six BACnet analog objects; occupants read live CO2 and temperature directly from the device without a dashboard
  • CO2-driven ventilation control — map the CO2 BACnet object to your AHU control sequence; ventilation adjusts to actual occupancy and metabolic load, not a fixed schedule
  • E-Ink display reduces complaints — occupants see the CO2 level; visible feedback cuts HVAC override requests and supports wellbeing reporting to building managers
  • Battery powered, no wiring — install in any space; useful for listed buildings, tenant spaces, and areas where chasing cable is not viable

🔵 Ready for Change

  • Display bridges BMS data and building users — the sensor is also the occupant readout; no separate display system, no dashboard access required for staff to act on air quality
  • Relocatable without rewiring — battery powered; move the measurement point as space use changes

🔐 Ready for Security

  • AES-128 LoRaWAN encryption — all air quality data encrypted end to end from device to gateway
  • No cloud dependency — BACnet values delivered to Niagara via KONA embedded LNS; no external server or internet connection required

🔗 Ready for Integrations

  • BACnet output via KONA embedded LNS — CO2, temperature, humidity, pressure, VOC, and light all available as individual BACnet analog objects in Niagara
  • LoRaWAN Class A — EU868, US915 — pairs with TEKTELIC KONA Micro or Enterprise gateways
  • INNON-tested integration — commissioned in Niagara; payload mapping documented at know.innon.com

A few things worth knowing before you deploy

  • Automatic CO2 self-calibration — recalibrates on a configurable schedule (7 days by default); no manual intervention, no drift over time after installation
  • Barometric pressure compensation — CO2 readings corrected for altitude and local air pressure; accurate on any floor level without manual offset
  • E-Ink display and sensor can be co-located or separated — mount the sensor at measurement height and the display where occupants can read it; or use this combined unit where a single mounting point covers both; the paired BREEZE + separate display option is also available if placement flexibility matters more
  • Display retains last reading without power — E-Ink is bistable; battery drains, last CO2 and temperature value stays on screen; the display does not go blank mid-session
  • 10 year battery life — no mains connection, no cable, no battery maintenance programme; useful for listed buildings, tenant spaces, and rooms where chasing cable is not viable
