A Ready For Anything® building block
One device. CO2, temperature, humidity, VOC, light, and PIR occupancy. Your BMS knows whether a space is occupied and whether the air quality is acceptable — from a single BACnet source.
CO2 (NDIR) · PIR occupancy · Temperature · Humidity · VOC · Light · LoRaWAN EU868 · CF25 compliant
Why you want occupancy and CO2 together
Demand-controlled ventilation based on CO2 alone has a lag problem. CO2 rises after people arrive — there's a delay before the ventilation system responds. PIR occupancy detection tells your BMS the moment someone enters a space. Combine it with CO2 and you get predictive ventilation: start ramping up airflow on first occupancy, before CO2 has time to build.
The BREEZE-V gives you both from one device and one BACnet source. No wiring, no cable runs, no separate PIR sensor on a separate network. One LoRaWAN device, one mounting position, two data streams into Niagara.

🟢 Ready for Today
- CO2, temperature, humidity, pressure, VOC, PIR occupancy — one device — air quality and presence from a single LoRaWAN slot; occupancy-linked ventilation control without a separate PIR circuit or BMS input
- PIR plus CO2 for genuine demand-controlled ventilation — presence confirms occupancy; CO2 confirms load; together they give your AHU control logic the two inputs it needs without two separate sensor systems
- Battery powered, no wiring — one sensor covers presence, air quality, and environment from a single wall mounting with no cable run
- Up to 10 years battery life — deploy once for the project lifecycle
🔵 Ready for Change
- Presence and air quality in one body — no separate motion detector, no additional BMS input, no extra LoRaWAN slot
- Relocatable — battery powered; move as space use changes without rewiring
🔐 Ready for Security
- AES-128 LoRaWAN encryption — all sensor data encrypted end to end from device to KONA gateway
- No cloud dependency — BACnet values delivered to Niagara via KONA embedded LNS; no external server required
🔗 Ready for Integrations
- BACnet output via KONA embedded LNS — CO2, temperature, humidity, pressure, VOC, and PIR all available as individual BACnet objects in Niagara
- LoRaWAN Class A — EU868, US915 — pairs with TEKTELIC KONA Micro or Enterprise gateways
- INNON-tested — commissioned in Niagara; documented at know.innon.com
A few things worth knowing before you deploy
- Automatic CO2 self-calibration — the BREEZE-V recalibrates its CO2 baseline on a configurable schedule (7 days by default); no manual reset, no drift, no site visit after commissioning
- Barometric pressure compensation — CO2 readings corrected for altitude and local air pressure; accurate across different floor levels and site elevations without manual offset
- PIR detects movement, not just presence — useful for differentiating occupied from transiently visited spaces; combine with CO2 trending to get a more complete picture of how a zone is actually being used
- 10 year battery life — deploy once and leave it; no battery replacement programme, no maintenance window to book for a sensor that is out of reach or above ceiling level
- Wall, ceiling, or table mount — three mounting configurations without additional hardware; position at the correct measurement height for the application without compromise
