A Ready For Anything® building block

One wireless sensor that gives your BMS the data it needs to control ventilation based on actual air quality — not a timer.

CO2 (NDIR) · Temperature · Humidity · VOC · Light · 10-year battery · CF25 compliant

The problem this product exists to solve

Most ventilation systems in occupied buildings run on a time schedule. They come on at 8am, go off at 6pm, and run at the same rate regardless of whether the room has 30 people in it or nobody. That's a significant energy waste — and in schools, hospitals, and office buildings, it's also a health risk.

CO2 above 1,000ppm in a classroom directly affects cognitive performance. Studies are clear on this. The problem has always been measurement — running a cable to every room for a wired CO2 sensor is expensive and disruptive on a retrofit.

The BREEZE removes the cable run. It's LoRaWAN — mount it on the wall in 10 minutes, no conduit, no chasing. Your gateway picks up the signal and outputs CO2, temperature, humidity, light, and barometric pressure as BACnet objects. Niagara sees them and can control your HVAC accordingly.

A few things worth knowing before you deploy

  • Automatic CO2 self-calibration every 7 days — the BREEZE recalibrates its CO2 baseline automatically on a configurable schedule (7 days by default); no manual intervention, no drift over time, no site visit to reset the sensor after installation
  • Barometric pressure compensation built in — CO2 readings are corrected for altitude and local air pressure; if you are deploying across multiple floors or at different site elevations, the readings are accurate without manual offset calibration
  • Wall, ceiling, or table mount — three mounting configurations out of the box; no additional hardware required for different room types or furniture layouts
  • Sensor and display can be separated — the BREEZE sensor is positioned at the correct measurement height while the E-Ink display goes where occupants can actually read it; the two do not need to be co-located
